During the course of the film, Kanji comes across a man named Krishna Vasudev Yadav, played by Akshay Kumar, who claims to be the modern-day incarnation of Lord Krishna. Krishna assists Kanji in his legal battle and challenges the religious norms and rituals followed by people in the name of God.
